Smashbox Primer Water Mini-Review / by Erin Baynham

Smashbox Primer Water Review I walked past the Smashbox section at Ulta probably 5 or 6 times in the last month, and every time, Smashbox Primer Water (1.6 oz./ $16, 3.9 oz. / $32) caught my eye. I'm almost positive it was the catchy name or the cool packaging. You know, I've been using MAC's Fix + (3.4 oz/ $22)for well over eight years, but I just had to see how different they were. And then one day, I saw Donna from Hauling with Niya coming out of Ulta. After about an hour of chatting, she told me she had an extra primer water, and she sent it to me! Look at God!

So upon arrival, I've been using this spray left and right. After my moisturizer (but before my primer), right before I apply foundation, after I apply powder and through the day. S0 I partially wonder, how different is my (much cheaper) Fix + to this Primer Water? I feel like Primer Water has a tackier, slightly sticker feel after you use it. Fix + doesn't give me that feeling. Maybe that's the trick to longer lasting makeup? It contains no oil, alcohol or silicone.

The jury is still out on this one, folks. I'll probably need to use the entire bottle before I make my decision. Your thoughts are appreciated! Do you have a favorite?
