As a former makeup artist, I have to say, this would have been outstanding for me. 6 pre-packaged lip colors in a shade family. For $40, you get 6 lipsticks, ready for your task. As an everyday girl, I'm a fan of a traditional lipstick tube, so I probably wouldn't purchase it.
Remember when MAC came out with those mini concealer trios? I still regret not buying them. I don't want the same to happen to you! However, this and the brown set are the least essential, for three reasons. One, the other 3 palettes have more unique colors. Two, you likely have plenty of browns (if you've been building your kit for awhile). Three, I'm not sure that you need 6 types of oranges. You can get a pretty close effect with a couple of these shades. This isn't meant to deter you. If you bought all of the palettes, you wouldn't need much more for your lipstick collection to be complete.
