Update: Erin's Favorite Foundations--June 2012 Edition / by Erin Baynham

Erin's Favorite Foundations My list of favorite foundations has been pretty consistant since 2009. I have a few foundations on my list to try by Tom Ford, Lancome, Estee Lauder and Fashion Fair. The five foundations are ate on this list were chosen because I reach for them the most.

Make Up For Ever Face and Body($40) is the foundation I usually grab all the time. The color is a little darker than my other foundations, so it's my only opotion for summer. It has a gel base, which is different that my other foundations. I pour a dab of this onthe back of my hand, then dot all over. A little goes a very long way, and it lasts for quite awhile. (For reference, I wear #77)

Make Up For Ever HD($42) and Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet ($36) were big favorites of mine since I can reemember. While I still use them, I don't jump to them as quickly as I used to. (I wear #175 in HD, 75 in Mat Velvet)

Bobbi Brown Moisturizing Cream Compact($42) is a fantastic foundation because it simply looks like skin. It's so natural looking that it is truly undetectable. You can view my video tutorial for it here. (I wear 8)

Black Opal Foundation Sticks--$10 for fantastic coverage. I love this because I use it equally as a concealer and a foundation. To conceal, I dab it in the areas that need coverage. Otherwise, I swipe it on larger areas for medium-full coverage. If this is the only foundation that I owned, it would work out just fine. I switch between Nutmeg and Hazelnut, sometimes Beautiful Bronze.

Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer ($42) is a breath of fresh air for the face.  This tinted moisturizer has plenty of targeted colors for Everyone. It gives more color than many of the tinted moisturizers that I've used. Unfortunately, my tan is in full effect, and the shade that I own it too light. (I own Seychelles, but likely need Martinique.)
