The Perfect At Home Iced Coffee
Since I'm trying to save money and my Starbucks addiction doesn't help, I need to make my own iced coffee. I bought a french press and cold brew system, and of course I didn't need them. After several Google searches and many, many test batches of coffee concentrate, the New York Times recipe is still the best. The recipe calls for 1/3 cup of coffee, 1 1/2 cups of water, and 12 hours of letting the the coffee sit.
I make mine in mason jars, but any container with a tight lid will work perfectly. I'm testing four roasts of coffees from three places: Zeke's, Starbucks and Caribou. I'm rooting for Zeke's since they are a local Baltimore company.
